Unique piece of art in the world, this Boujaad was woven in the 60s by the Boujaad tribe. Its condition is excellent.

Its composition is 100% wool. The background color is pink and add touhces of peach color and orange wasted, due to the passage of time. Its figures are light brown, and dark brown. Another aspect to highlight of this beauty, is that it was finished in different month/years, because the weaving was probably finished as the family was collecting wool, after several months.

The story goes that the families wove these wonderful pieces to protect themselves from the cold and snow in the winters of the Atlas mountains. In the summer, these pieces were kept in boxes in the houses. Many times, in years of bad harvests, the Berber families exchange these pieces for other goods.

Today, we are lucky to find these beautiful and unique pieces, which are becoming more and more difficult to find.
